I’ve been a fan of Chiddy Bang for a while now, and their music is usually hit or miss with me. I loved Air Swell, and in my opinion those songs had the best samples and Xaphoon killed every beat on that tape. Chiddy unveiled this song a few months ago after he broke the Guinness Book of World Records’ freestyle record, and I was skeptical as to whether this would be a good song when they released the actual thing. Looking back on it, I assume anyone would be pretty tired after rapping for 9 hours, so I should’ve cut him a little bit of slack.
The duo just released this track like they’ve been promising on Facebook and Twitter, and although it has the same pop feel that Wiz Khalifa’s recent songs have had, this song shouldn’t disappoint many Chiddy Bang fans. Download Here[audio http://www.hulkshare.com/j9j540lrbp81]
In 2008, Killers frontman Brandon Flowers said that his band would eventually knock U2 from atop the rock pedestal. The band ended up taking a break in 2010 while Brandon Flowers worked on and released a solo album, but the group is back on tour. At a show in London last week, a fan got a video of the band’s new song, “The Rising Tide.” The quality of the video is decent, and this taste of the group’s fourth album definitely leaves fans wanting more.
Like almost all artists are doing nowadays, Shwayze and Cisco are releasing new music and videos in weekly installments they call “Island Wednesdays”. This week, the duo released a new track called “Summertime Music,” and that’s exactly what it is. With it’s carefree and easy vibe, Shwayze and Cisco once again deliver with a summer jam.
Also, the group released the official video for the song “Love Letter”
The Hood Internet is a production duo from Chicago who specialize in making mash-ups. They almost always combine hip-hop and indie rock, and they are masters at what they do.
This track has them combining Ellie Goulding’s “Lights” with Portland Cello Project’s cover of “All Of The Lights”. “Lights” is one of the most remixed and mashed songs around right now, and this is definitely one of the standouts.
Summer has officially started, and with the start of the best season of the year also comes a lot of new music releases.
I’ve been a fan of a lot of the things Asher Roth has put out since “I Love College”, and this song is no exception. Rawth’s laid-back flow makes this one a perfect track to kick off your summer.[audio http://hulkshare.com/imnwcsjehi55]
Here’s another song released for summer, and it has Mayer Hawthorne providing the chorus. The Cool Kids released this as a stream online, and the song is available for download on iTunes.
What’s the best part about Frank Ocean’s music? His vocals. There is no better way to showcase pure vocal talent than on an acoustic song, and that’s exactly what he does here. This isn’t exactly new Ocean, this track was left on the cutting room floor when he put together his debut mixtape, Nostalgia, Ultra. Pyrite is definitely different from his other songs like “Novacane,” “Swim Good,” and “Songs For Women,” but by no means is this song not on the same level as his stuff on Nostalgia.
